A Myanmar-China border trade exhibition, with participation of India, Bangladesh and Thailand, will be held in Myanmar's border trade zone of Muse in December, the local weekly Voice reported in this week's issue.
据缅甸之声周刊报道，由印度、孟加拉国、泰国共同参与的中缅边贸展将于2006年12月在缅甸木姐边境贸易区举行。
It will be the first time for Myanmar to hold Myanmar-China border trade fair with other neighbors in the newly-established Muse 105th Mile Border Trade Zone linking China's Ruili.
这是缅甸首次启用新建的与中国瑞丽接壤的木姐105码边境贸易区，与临国共同举办中缅边境贸易展览会。
The three-day five-nation trade exhibition, which will run from Dec. 21 to 23, comprises 336 booths set up on a 1.2-hectare land plot.
为期三天的五国边贸展时间为今年12月21日-23日，占地1.20公顷，共有336个摊位。
Since 2001, Myanmar-China border trade exhibitions were held alternately in Muse and Ruili and the last event was in Muse in December 2004.
2001年以来，中缅边贸展轮流在中国瑞丽与缅甸木姐举办。最后一次是2004年在缅甸木姐举办的。
The Muse 105th Mile Border Trade Zone was established in April this year as the first and largest zone of its kind in Myanmar's course of transforming border trade system at all trade points into normal one.
缅甸木姐105码边境贸易区今年4月建成，是在缅甸试图将所有贸易口岸的边境贸易转向一般贸易的过程中建成的第一个也是最大的边境贸易区。
A similar border trade zone in Myawaddy, a border town in southeastern Kayin state bordering Thailand's Maesot, is also being set up as the second largest one. More will follow suit including Tamu with India and Maungtaw with Bangladesh.
泰国在靠近泰国南部边境名为苗瓦迪（Myawaddy）的小镇，类似的一个边境贸易区正在建设。接踵而来的边贸区将建在毗邻印度的塔姆（Tamu）和毗邻孟加拉国的蒙桃（Maungtaw）。
Myanmar has a total of 13 main border trade points with its four neighboring countries. With the participation of all of the four neighbors, the exhibition indicates that Myanmar is desired to boost its trade with the neighbors to transform border trade into normal trade, merchants said.
缅甸与其毗邻四国共有13个主要贸易口岸。有关商业人士认为，缅甸方面邀请四个邻国参加该展览会，旨在扩大缅甸与其邻国的贸易并有意促进边境贸易向一般贸易转变。
According to Myanmar statistics, the border trade volume at the Muse point in the first half of 2006 amounted to 311.068 million U. S. dollars, up correspondingly from 257.092 million dollars in 2005, while that at the Myawaddy point stood 48.927 million dollars in the first half of 2006, down slightly and correspondingly from 50.373 million dollars in 2005.
据缅甸有关资料统计，缅甸2006年上半年在木姐口岸的边境贸易额达3.11亿美元，与2005年的2.57亿美元相比有较大增长。然而在毗邻泰国的苗瓦迪口岸，2006年上半年仅为4892.7万美元，比2005年的5037.3万美元相比略有下降。
Statistics also showed that Myanmar-India border trade accounted for 15.76 million dollars in 2005-06 and 2.91 million dollars in the first quarter of 2006-07 (April-June), while Myanmar-Bangladesh border trade took 21.1 million dollars in 2005- 06.
按2005-2006年度统计，缅甸与印度的边境贸易额为1576万美元，2006第一季度为291 万美元；缅甸与孟加拉国边境贸易额为2110 万美元。
